Keyword Analysis Secrets

Often webmasters create their web site with little regard
to search engine optimization. Especially in niche markets
where the webmasters are not that much up to date with
internet marketing they often create content that is not
optimized for search engines. If you understand how to do
keyword analysis in these markets you will have a huge
advantage over your competitors. Basically the way that
this works is that when someone is looking for information
for a specific topic they usually visit a search engine and
search on specific keywords. Now if you are not sure what
they type in the search engine it makes it difficult to
create content that actually will be found.

The way that you perform keyword analysis is that you use
specific keyword tools which will show you the amount of
times a keyword is searched. So for example if you type in
used cars the keyword will show you all the variations that
you can use. With the increase in competition it is better
to target three to four length keywords as these usually
have less competition. So the secret is to find keywords
which have little competition as these are easy to rank
for.

The three keyword analysis tools that I like using are the
Overture search suggestion tool, Google Adwords keyword
suggestion tool and the Wordtracker tool. Initially when I
did my research I would sometimes find that my results
would not be the same in reality because each tool
sometimes give skewed results as they use different sources
of data. However, by using all three tools where you have a
combination of organic and ppc data they are very accurate.

Once you understand the mechanics behind optimizing your
content for search engines by doing keyword analysis you
can significantly increase your web site traffic. On one of
my web sites I redesigned the entire web site by optimizing
the titles and content for keywords and improved my search
engine traffic from seven thousand visitors a month to
twenty seven thousand visitors a month. Now you can see how
powerful this is if you can do it right.
